The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated an investigation on April 15, 2021, under the Special Import Measures Act respecting the alleged injurious dumping of certain small power transformers from Austria, Taiwan, and South Korea. On 27 August 2021, CBSA disclosed the notice of preliminary determination and starting levied the provisional anti-dumping duty to the exporters and manufacturers, this announcement also indicated that there is a 17.2% dumping margin ratio imposed on the Taiwan manufacturer Shihlin Electric & Engineering Corporation. According to the investigation schedule, the final determination or termination will be announced on 27 October 2021.
